Why drink a boring medicinal-tasting green juice when you can play doctor while you’re act it? Just a few minutes ago, Lady Gaga Instagrammed two photos of LA-based organic juice shop Kreation’s Juicekription shot. The fluid—meant for drinking despite its syringe-like container—is called Beautiful since it’s designed to benefit your nails, hair, and skin. Ingredients include green tea, activated silicon, boron, and zinc. Gaga wrote, “Only in Hollywood. The Beauty Shot. I thought that was vodka and a Valium. Turns out it’s green tea and active silicon.” Beautifying potions and concoctions are de rigueur in Hollywood these days—there are even IV nutrient drips with “beautifying” vitamin supplements. Many might consider them expensive and unnecessary if you live a typically healthy lifestyle, but Hollywood was never about being “typical.” A second photo of Gaga “injecting” the shot into her mouth is captioned: “Most fun juice box ever. Playing doctor.”
